DESCRIPTION

Improve the resolution of your optical alignment even further with this fine adjust mount. Accommodates Ø1/2” mirror, secured with retaining ring (included). Mirror mount has optional epoxy pocket for permeant placement.  With a 5/64" ball driver, quickly and easily adjust your alignment using three adjustment screws on the face of the optical mount. Lock nuts included and can be ordered separately.

Lock nuts can be purchased here. Does not include AB1-C or AB1-B.

INSTRUCTIONS / HOW TO USE

Mount a Ø1/2” optic in the recessed pocket and secure it with a retaining ring. Mount the fine adjustment mechanism in an Adjust-A-Ball (AB1-C or AB1-B) by simply threading into position (Optionally secure into Adjust-A-Ball's epoxy pocket using adhesive). Use the three adjustment screws on the face of the mount to optimize your x-y alignment in seconds with extreme precision.

COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS

Thermal equilibrated positioning keeps mirrors in stable position. FAB5 Series uses Maxwell kinematic coupling.  Traditional optic mounts use Kelvin kinematic coupling that normally move during thermal cycling.
